About Sonjher Designs

Jim and Robin began their adventure into fused glass art in 2018.  Jim was retired from a career in business management and Robin was looking for a creative outlet from her challenging job in biotechnology.  We began taking classes through the Center for Community Arts. In 2023 we moved to the desert and currently live in Indio about 25 miles south of Palm Springs.

Jim and Robin have different artistic styles.  Jim enjoys working with very precise cuts and geometrical shapes.  Robin likes working in the abstract.  As you peruse the site try to guess which of us designed the art.

We work in three areas.  Our functional art works is comprised of plates, bowls and platters.  Please note not all are food safe and are for display.  Our table and wall art uses various techniques to give you a one-of-a-kind piece to display on your wall or to show off on a table or cabinet, lastly our jewelry gives you the ability to wear your art everywhere you go.

We also love collaborating with you to design a piece of art that will reflect you.  We can discuss colors and prices to design something that meets your vision in any of the above categories.
