10X10 inch split plate in Robin’s egg blue and french vanilla

This 10×10 plate offers a great example of reactive glass showing the very clear line of the interaction of Robin’s egg blue with french vanilla.  This is not drawn but is a chemical reaction between the two glasses.

While this plate is uncapped contains heavy metals, however, it is believed to be below the limits to cause issues, however, care should be taken if foods are used as acidic foods may cause more leaching as well as any long term storage of food.  To be sure we recommend testing with conditions you will use it under.
